In 2017 the Trustees thank the Lord for His enabling and ongoing provision for the Fund, thus allowing us to help the continuing literature work in Angola.
During 2016-17 there has been much to encourage with many items of literature delivered and distributed. Since Brian and Debbie Howden are now based permanently in the country they can have a more hands-on oversight of the Fund’s activities in the country. This, however, can be balanced by the ongoing illness and subsequent homecall of our sister Ruth Hadley, who did so much to further the literature work in Angola.
Pointers for Prayer and Thanksgiving
- Praise the Lord for His continuing plentiful provision
- Give thanks that all Bibles, literature and supplies have arrived safely
- Pray that the Lord will bless all who receive Bibles and other literature supplied by ALF
- Pray for the smooth passage of containers through Customs in Luanda and then on the hazardous road journey to Camundambala
- Thank the Lord for the crucial support role played for so long by MMN
- Pray that the missionaries will continue to stay safe as they travel and to maintain good health in the difficult conditions of Angola
